Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, seeks a Plant Controller, FP&A Manager in our Atlanta, GA Heart Failure division. You will lead financial activities for the plant, guiding strategic planning, budgeting, and performance analysis to enable growth and compliance.

You will oversee internal controls, cost accounting, and financial reporting, partnering with operations to drive productivity and value. Minimum 4+ years in accounting/finance with strong leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Minimum 4+ years accounting or finance experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• General accounting.
• Financial planning and analysis.
• Management/supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical proficiency: Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Establish internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data reliability.
• Monitor financial procedures across planning, costing, inventory, and capital.
• Provide financial leadership to plant management.
• Coordinate budgets, standards, and capital budgets.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Develop and deploy financial measurement tools.
