Job summary

UFP Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Site Controller in Chicopee, MA to lead the finance and accounting operations at the site. The role requires directing the team, ensuring timely closings, and maintaining proper internal controls in line with US GAAP.

Strong inventory costing and manufacturing experience are essential. The candidate will work on-site five days a week, collaborate with site leadership, and provide financial analysis, budgeting support, and cost modeling to drive performance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
10+ years of directly related accounting/finance experience in progressive roles.
Minimum 5 years of experience in personnel management.
Manufacturing industry experience with inventory costing and cost accounting.
Willingness to work on-site five days a week in Chicopee, MA.

Responsibilities

Lead finance and accounting operations for the Chicopee site.
Oversee monthly, quarterly and year-end closings with reconciliations.
Manage inventory accounting and costing processes.
Support budgeting, forecasting and modeling of financial performance.
Prepare monthly reporting packages for Corporate Accounting and ensure GAAP compliance.
