Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking a Construction Manager (I) to oversee installation of the DI equipment on site in Durham, NC. The role requires ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality while coordinating with customers, utilities, AHJs, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include leading daily safety briefs, coordinating project meetings, managing field teams, and maintaining orderly sites, with 70%+ travel. Strong communication and construction management knowledge required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2+ years of construction experience.
• Ability to read and communicate proficiently in English.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Proficient with standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites by following company standards and procedures.
• Coordinate and administer daily safety briefs with contractors and company employees to ensure a safe working environment.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings with customers, utilities, subcontractors, and/or other stakeholders.
• Proficiently understand all aspects of project and adequately manage the installation.
• Ensure project sites are always left in a tidy manner and follow housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Properly coordinate with respective parties for timely execution of project schedule.
