Remote Construction Manager – Lead on-Time Installations

Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking a Construction Manager I to ensure the safe, on-time, and on-budget installation of DI equipment at project sites. You will represent PowerSecure on the project site, oversee construction activities, manage subcontractors and internal resources, and interface with customers, utilities, and AHJs.

The role requires 70%+ travel, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2+ years of construction experience.
• Ability to read and communicate proficiently in English.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Proficient with standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and healthy work sites by following company standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements.
• Coordinate and administer daily safety briefs with contractors and company employees to ensure a safe working environment.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings with customers, utilities, subcontractors, and/or other stakeholders.
• Proficiently understand all aspects of project and adequately manage the installation.
• Ensure project sites are always left in a tidy manner and follow housekeeping standards and procedures.
• Properly coordinate with respective parties for timely execution of project schedule.
• Proficiently communicate with Senior Staff to ensure each project is installed safely, timely, and on budget.
