Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Field Operations Coordinator to be based at the Phoenix, AZ project site. You will work with the site construction lead to manage scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor coordination, ensuring safety and adherence to drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include preparing daily and quality inspection reports, maintaining on-site records, and ensuring contractors use the latest drawing revisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling, reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communications
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and conformance with drawings and specifications
• Monitor project schedule adherence and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports as official project records
• Take progress photographs and properly label each image
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports for the Project Construction Manager
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions for construction
• Provide support to the Project Construction Manager as needed
• Possibly manage key trade or subcontractor activities in support of the project
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the Project Manager
• Maintain professional correspondence with project management and clients to resolve issues clearly
• Maintain on-site records and files per The Perry Group’s standards
• Adhere to The Perry Group’s Quality Policy and Quality Systems Work Instructions
