Tighe & Bond is seeking a Site Civil Project Engineer 1 to join our Land Use team in Portsmouth or Manchester, NH. You will manage civil/site design tasks across multiple projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compliant infrastructure.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree, 5–8 years of relevant experience, and a PE license or plan to obtain within a year. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–8 years of civil/site design experience.
• PE license in Massachusetts or ability to obtain within one year.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD.
• Strong knowledge of land development regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and execute engineering design tasks for civil/site development projects, including land development, energy, transportation, coastal, utility, and infrastructure projects for public and private clients.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications, cost estimates, and project reports to support project planning and execution.
• Conduct construction observation and contractor supervision to ensure project quality and compliance with design specifications.
• Perform stormwater analysis, hydrologic modeling, and site grading using engineering design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, or equivalent).
• Participate in client meetings, present project findings, and provide technical guidance to stakeholders, including municipal and regulatory agencies.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and technical documentation to ensure consistency with project requirements and industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and solutions-oriented work environment.
• Ensure that all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including land development regulations and municipal engineering standards.
• Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
