Tighe & Bond is seeking a Site Civil Project Engineer 2 in Westfield, MA to join the Land Use Business Line and deliver infrastructure projects across the Northeast. You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams on land development, energy, transportation, and public utilities while contributing to resilient, sustainable designs.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 8–10 years of site design experience, and a PE license in Massachusetts or the ability to obtain within a year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8–10 years of experience in civil/site design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Massachusetts or ability to obtain within one year.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD.
• Strong knowledge of land development regulations and municipal standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic setting and adapt to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute engineering design tasks for civil/site development projects.
• Prepare detailed specifications, estimates, and reports.
• Conduct construction observation and contractor supervision.
• Perform stormwater analysis and hydrologic modeling.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical guidance.
• Review drawings and documents for compliance with standards.
• Mentor junior team members and support collaborative culture.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and municipal standards.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with good organization.
