WSP is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to provide technical leadership across planning, design, and management of infrastructure projects. Location options include Louisville or Lexington, KY, with opportunities for project leadership, client engagement, and staff development.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, regulatory compliance, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams, with growth potential based on performance and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 2-10 years of post-education experience in civil and infrastructure design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; multi-state licensure preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Strong working knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for civil engineering work.
• Develop plans, specifications, cost estimates, design reports, and construction packages for civil components.
• Perform and/or support reviews of permit applications, designs, contracts, and construction inspections for compliance.
• Lead or support the delivery of civil engineering projects, coordinating schedules and budgets, and mentoring staff.
• Participate in client meetings and support contract negotiations.
• Support growth and pipeline development of civil engineering work for WSP.
