Job summary

STV, Inc. in Kentucky seeks a full-time Senior Site/Civil Land Development Engineer for Civil Site Design across Lexington, Louisville, Owensboro, and Glasgow offices. You will lead projects with a client-focused approach and provide supervision aligned with company objectives.

You will plan, design, schedule, and cost-estimate, supervise engineers and technicians, and participate in new business development while maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• PE license is preferred but not a requirement.
• 8 or more years' experience of related experience.
• Proficiency in oral and written communications.
• Fieldwork may be required; able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Physical requirements - squatting, kneeling, climbing, walking certain distances.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for successful completion of assigned engineering projects.
• Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct completion of projects; establish and maintain primary client contact; schedules.
• Determine staffing needs; hire, train, manage and motivate personnel.
• Establish and maintain quality and accuracy standards; review and approve complete plans; obtain approvals.
• Take an active role in new business development.
• Help with project scope and technical writeups for proposals.
• Oversee invoicing and collection of payments from clients; review invoices and collect receivables.
• Supervise Engineers and Technicians; work with managers to achieve the company's mission.
