Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services in Tampa, FL is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering for Summer 2027. You will support site feasibility studies, field work, and design documentation while learning from senior engineers.

Exposure to land development projects, AutoCAD and Civil 3D workflows, and collaboration with project leaders will foster technical and professional growth during the internship.

Qualifications

• Student actively pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering; GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail oriented and analytical.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, schedules and cost estimates using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and other tools.
• Evaluate soil, terrain, hydrology and topography data for planning and design.
• Support zoning, permit assessments, sidewalk estimations and project feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection support and collaborate with team members on project tasks.
