Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering for the Summer 2027 program in Bellevue, WA. You will support site feasibility studies, field work, and the preparation of design plans and specifications.

You will work with senior engineers on land development projects, gaining hands-on experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D and engineering calculations while developing professional communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering; GPA 3.0+ preferred
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering and land development projects
• Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, schedules and cost estimates using engineering software
• Evaluate soil, terrain, hydrology, topography and geology data for planning and design implications
• Support zoning, ordinance and permit assessments and feasibility studies
• Provide field inspection support as needed; collaborate with team members on project tasks
