Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineer (Summer 2027) to join its Cleveland, OH team. This role supports site feasibility studies, design plans, and field documentation on land development projects under the guidance of industry leaders.

Ideal candidates are Civil Engineering students with a 3.0+ GPA and knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering; GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical, multitasking and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with preparation and modification of reports, plans, schedules, and cost estimates using engineering software.
• Analyze soil, terrain, hydrology and topography data for project planning and design.
• Support zoning, permit assessments, and feasibility analyses based on data.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Apply engineering and math knowledge to project tasks.
• Collaborate with team members on assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
