Job summary

Wight & Company in Darien, IL is seeking a summer intern for the Land Development Group as a Site Civil Engineer. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction managers on project design and development.

Current Civil Engineering students will gain hands-on experience, attend team and client meetings, and build strong internal and external relationships while developing technical and computer skills in a collaborative, supportive environment.

• Work with Junior and Senior Engineers to develop creative solutions to challenges in the design processes
• Expand upon existing technical and computer skills to aid with day-to-day activities

• Provide meaningful contributions to project advancement and completion

Salary Range: $20 - $25/hr. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
