Wight & Company is seeking a summer intern to join the Structural Engineering group in our Darien, IL office. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction managers on design projects and gain hands-on experience.

The program offers opportunities to network with professionals across departments, develop your skills in Revit BIM, and contribute to project progression while learning in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must be entering junior year or Master's program by summer 2027.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organization and computer skills.
• Revit BIM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with Junior and Senior Engineers to develop creative solutions to design challenges.
• Expand upon existing technical and computer skills to aid with day-to-day activities.
• Attend team and client meetings in-house and on-site.
• Opportunity to advance group initiatives and objectives.
• Provide meaningful contributions to project advancement and completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Revit building information modelling experience preferred
• Openness to learn and have fun

Salary Range : $20 - $25/hr. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
