Job summary

Woolpert, Inc. seeks a Site Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team. This role can operate from one of our offices with hybrid scheduling or remotely. Applicants must have work authorization for the country located and must hold a Professional Engineer license.

You will design site layouts, use Civil 3D for grading and site designs, and collaborate with project teams to overcome obstacles. Travel and some field work are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years related experience.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
• Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Experience in hydraulics and hydrology preferred.
• Strong interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.
• Proven ability to multitask, appropriately prioritize workflow, and complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
• Work with project management teams to identify impediments and develop/implement solutions.
• Perform site due diligence assessments and compile data and reports.
• Perform occasional field work and frequent local travel, and overnight travel, as needed.
