Job summary

HDR is seeking a Site Civil Engineer for our Building Engineering Services Group in Denver, CO. The role focuses on design of facility-related sites across multiple markets, leading a multi-discipline team from planning through construction.

The candidate will be responsible for civil scope development, coordination with subconsultants, and ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements. A PE license is required, and leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires PE/P.Eng license recognized by the licensing board for the location.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering scope of work and budgets for proposals.
• Serve as Engineer of Record on non-complex projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external resources for due diligence.
• Develop concept site layouts compliant with jurisdictional requirements.
• Coordinate design solutions with the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
• Produce plan sets, details, specs, and cost estimates.
