Job summary

HDR is seeking a Site Civil Engineering Team Lead for the Building Engineering Services group in Denver, CO. You will lead a multidisciplinary site civil team across planning, design, and construction documentation, coordinating with architecture, structural, and other disciplines to deliver efficient, high-quality site work.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 7+ years of experience, and professional registration as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering scope of work and budgets for proposals.
• Participate in the interview process for new work.
• Serve as the Engineer of Record on complex projects.
• Connect civil team with internal and external resources.
• Define team growth and development; support career development.
• Mentor junior staff and delegate tasks.
• Collaborate with HDR business groups and teams.
• Manage client meetings and correspondence.
• Author subconsultant agreements.
• Guide the design team through design calculations and plan sets.
