Job summary

Gemma Power Systems is seeking a Cost Accountant to join the Finance team at the Channelview site. The role focuses on job cost reporting, forecasting, and financial close activities supporting multiple project sites.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 4+ years of accounting experience (CPA a plus), and strong Excel/Sage 300/Power BI skills. Candidates must handle tight deadlines and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of public or corporate accounting experience; CPA a plus.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and related Office 365 tools.
• Experience with Sage 300 and Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Job cost reporting, forecasting, and administration.
• Analysis of budget variances and related analyses.
• Preparation of quarterly forecasting reports and journal entries.
• Reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Support and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Maintain documentation for monthly close processes.
