Job summary

CoVolt Power in Texas seeks an Associate Project Manager to support Project Manager and project teams on construction projects. This developmental role focuses on planning, decision-making, and execution to prepare for leadership positions within the organization.

Based 100% on project sites with home rotations, the role emphasizes safety, quality, and client value while enabling growth through hands-on field experience and mentorship for Project Engineers and Field Engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in construction management or general contracting.
• OSHA 10 Hour Certification.
• First Aid/CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager on large, complex projects by managing procurement, subcontract management, scheduling, submittals, RFIs, permitting, and project closeout.
• Partner with the Project Manager to prioritize safety, quality, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Represent the company in interactions with clients, subcontractors, and partners to address issues related to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with Construction Managers to gain field experience, including managing schedules, subcontractors, safety, quality, commissioning, and on-site problem-solving.
