Job summary

DHL Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Management professional to lead tactical and operational FM activities in Columbus, OH. You will direct teams and service providers, ensuring reliable building systems and compliance with internal policies.

Focus on cost efficiency, environmental programs, risk controls, and strong stakeholder collaboration to sustain property value and operational reliability across DHL properties.

Job Purpose:

Manage FM services in a tactical and operational level. Direct team and service providers in executing the FM tactical and operational goals. Main focus is on technical FM scope.

Your tasks:

• Ensure optimal functionality of building systems and provide high-quality technical services while maintaining compliance with internal policies.


• Oversee vendors and maintenance helpers, manage contracts through KPIs and SLAs, and collaborate with Finance on budget development.


• Identify technical savings initiatives, coordinate inspections to determine required technical services, and provide regular reports on operations and projects to enhance property value and efficiency


• Administer environmental programs in partnership with the company's EH&S Manager. Ensure adherence to Corporate Risk Management policies and Insurance requirements for vendors/contractors


• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and facilities staff


• Operate the A/P invoice payment system to validate and approve costs associated with the technical aspects of the facilities


• Respond to after-hours facilities-related emergencies and determine the appropriate course of action to resolve issues


• Responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing, and overseeing the maintenance of properties, facilities, equipment, and mechanical systems to support operational effectiveness
