Job summary

DHL Group is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician within Corporate Real Estate (CRE). Based in Westerville, OH, you will maintain and repair standard facility equipment, coordinate with 3rd party vendors and document work in the maintenance system.

The role requires 2+ years in facility management, CMMS experience, and knowledge of mechanical/electrical operations; offers international, virtual environment, flexibility, and a competitive compensation package.

• Assist daily operations of ventilation and other systems.

Job Purpose

Perform maintenance and repairs to standard facility equipment. Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure maintenance & repairs are conducted timely.

Your Tasks

• Document all work within DHL maintenance system
• Perform maintenance and repairs to standard facility equipment (HVAC, Lighting, Plumbing, Painting etc.)
• Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure maintenance & repairs are conducted timely
• Surveying building and coordinate repair of mechanical systems
• Assisting in the day to day operation of ventilation and other systems
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)

Stakeholders

• Explain facts, practices, policies, etc. to others within the organization adhering to narrowly defined procedures, standards and guidelines
• Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own team
• Communicate information that requires some explanation or interpretation
• Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships

Your Profile

Education Level

• Vocational or Technical education with FM certification
• Associates degree in technical field is a plus

Experience Level

• More than 2 years in Facility Management with a technical focus.
• Previous experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) system
• Understanding of mechanical/electrical operations of facilities.
