Job summary

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University is seeking a Site Advisor for our Worldwide Campus location in Maryland to provide comprehensive academic advising and student support while contributing to site operations and community engagement.

The role requires advising on degree requirements, policies, course planning, registration, financial aid, and degree progression, plus liaison with departments and external partners to ensure smooth site operations and student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Three to five years of related professional experience.
• Experience providing academic advising, student services, or comparable support to students or clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/Email, and SharePoint.
• Experience working with information systems and internet-based applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records and meeting established deadlines.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Counsel students regarding degree requirements, academic policies and procedures, course planning, registration, financial aid and tuition assistance options, and progression toward degree completion.
• Coordinate with university departments, faculty, community partners, government and military representatives, and other stakeholders to support site operations.
• Support on-site course enrollment and outreach initiatives, graduation activities, facility needs, scheduling, technology requirements, emergency preparedness, inventory, compliance activities, and budget/expense management.
• Serve as a positive representative of Embry-Riddle while promoting excellence in student services and community engagement.
