Qualifications

  • Experience in business and community outreach.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, education or human resources, or related experience in business, management, professional training, or sales.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to thrive in environments with multiple stakeholders, frequent change, and diverse objectives.
  • Ability to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive, professional attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer systems.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Access to reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional supervision to CareerLink staff and partners to ensure optimal services and resources at Berks County CareerLink sites.
  • Promote functional PA CareerLink teams to facilitate cross-functional operations and service delivery.
  • Analyze operational needs; collaborate with partners, and Fiscal Agent to develop and monitor RSA; research other funding sources to reduce partner costs and expand services.
  • Communicate with Title I and BWPO Regional staff on all work activities and recommended solutions through reports and meetings.
  • Develop orientation procedures to train new staff on site procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular CareerLink staff meetings and professional development sessions.
  • Establish and enforce PA CareerLink operational policies including office hours, data confidentiality, health and safety, and after-hour shifts.
