Job summary

P&T Site Accountant role located in Arizona seeks an accounting professional to handle day-to-day site accounting, accounts payable, payroll preparation, and PO administration. The role collaborates with site management and the CFO to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

The position requires 2–7 years of experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a project-based environment.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in mining, exploration, construction, engineering, manufacturing, or other project-based environments preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable, payroll preparation, purchase orders, reconciliations, and month-end accounting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ADP experience.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage site accounts payable process, including invoice review, coding, and approvals.
• Prepare payroll and benefits information for site employees and contractors.
• Assist with month-end close activities and reconciliations.
• Oversee the site purchase order process and monitor PO balances.
• Act as the primary finance and administrative contact for site personnel.
