Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Active pursuit of accounting designation an asset.
• 3 to 5 years of progressive experience with direct project administration and accounting in the construction or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and approves daily/weekly/monthly/yearly accounting functions per policy and contract terms.
• Assists with implementation and adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
• Reviews project adjustments and reports; follows up on issues or discrepancies.
• Performs monthly job cost report analysis and reconciliations with the project manager.
• Prepares and analyzes month-end and year-end project reporting.
• Manages project cash flow analysis and provides actionable recommendations.
