48forty Solutions in Northampton, PA is hiring a Sit-Down Forklift Operator to load and unload trailers with pallets and move wood inside the plant to keep production moving safely and efficiently. Pay is ${"20.00"}/hr with first shift Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm.

Responsibilities include unloading pallets, moving wood to work areas, stacking products in trailers, and maintaining a safe workspace. Prior forklift experience and willingness to work overtime are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of sit-down propane forklift experience.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing or construction preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and wood to the proper location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or storage areas at safe heights.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials.
