Job summary

48forty Solutions in Florence, SC is seeking a motivated Forklift Operator to load and unload pallets and move materials to keep production moving safely and efficiently.

The role offers hourly pay of $16.75, Monday-Friday 6:00am–4:00pm, with overtime potential and a path to long-term career advancement.

You will work in a fast-paced plant environment, handling wood pallets, following safety rules, and supporting other team members as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years forklift experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind.
