Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Northampton, PA location. Earn $20.00–$21.00 per hour with first or second shift options (Mon–Fri).

Responsibilities include unloading pallets, moving wood, stacking products, and maintaining safety. Experience in warehouse or lumber-related fields is preferred; overtime may be required. We offer competitive pay and a team-focused work environment.

Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to load and unload trailer with wooden pallets and move pallets inside our plants to keep manufacturing production moving efficiently! We’re looking for a motivated individual who will keep things moving at a safe and efficient pace!

Hourly Pay:

$20.00-21.00/hr

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 12:30am

What You'll Do

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant

• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area

• Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height

• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind

What You'll Need

• 1-3 years of forklift experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred

• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
