Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Forklift Operator in Eastford, CT to load and unload trailers with wooden pallets and move pallets within the plant to keep production moving efficiently. The role offers an hourly pay of $19.00 and a 1st shift from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include unloading pallets, moving lumber, stacking products safely, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Prior forklift experience and ability to work overtime are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred.

• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
