Job summary

48forty Solutions in Florence, SC is hiring a Forklift Operator to load and unload pallets, move wood pallets inside the plant, and stack finished products to trailers or storage areas. You will maintain a safe, efficient workflow during Monday–Friday shifts (6:00am–4:00pm) with overtime as needed.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years of forklift experience and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of forklift experience.
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind.
