Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Biglerville, PA plant to load and unload pallets, move pallets inside the facility, and support production efforts with safe, efficient handling of materials.

You will operate a forklift for moving wood and pallets, stack finished goods, and help keep the work area clean and safe. The role offers 1st or 2nd shift options and requires physical stamina and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous warehouse/logistics experience strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor-intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant.
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area.
• Stack finished products into trailers or storage areas up to a safe height.
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind.
