Job summary

The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is seeking a professional Massage Therapist to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a luxury spa setting. You will perform 45, 60, 90 and 120 minute massages and ensure comfort and safety for clients, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Applicants should hold an accredited massage certification and be licensed to practice in Arizona; CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred. Join a team focused on guest care, quality service, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited school of Massage
• Licensed to practice massage in Arizona
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Perform massage while maintaining the clients comfort at all times
• Perform 45, 60, 90 and 120 minute massages as required
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and Holidays
• Ensure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to their needs and expectation
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and neat work environment at all times, ensuring all equipment is in safe working order
• Actively participate in other areas of the Spa Operation, such as body treatments, product knowledge and retail sales
• Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Follow departmental policies and procedures
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Create retail recommendation baskets and personalized cards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited school of Massage required
• Certified in Arizona
• 2-year experience as a Massage Therapist preferred
• All professional licenses are to be current
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Must be available evenings, weekends and Holidays
• Weekend availability is required

Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to):

• Frequent standing, bending and reaching throughout shift
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, sittingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Visa Requirements

Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
