Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an SIOP Supply Planner to drive the supply planning and execution within the SIOP framework for the Thermal product portfolio. You will align demand, production capacity, and inventory strategies to meet service, cost, and working capital goals.

You will partner with manufacturing sites, procurement, demand planning, and operations to ensure feasible plans and timely communication of risks and trade-offs. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years experience in supply planning/SIOP/IBP or production planning.
• Understanding of end-to-end supply chain and SIOP principles.
• Experience with ERP and planning systems (SAP, Kinaxis, OMP).
• Proficient data analysis and reporting in Excel/Power BI/Tableau.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Analytical mindset for data interpretation and decision making.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the supply plan within the SIOP process for Thermal Management.
• Translate demand plans into production and material requirements with factories, buyers, and suppliers.
• Lead supply reviews, identify risks and mitigations, and communicate trade-offs.
• Monitor inventory health, safety stock, excess, and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and procurement to address constraints.
• Participate in monthly SIOP cycles with data for supply, demand, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with finance to align planning with budget and forecast cycles.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and systems.
• Support new product introductions and transitions in the supply plan.
• Track key metrics: on-time delivery, supply adherence, and inventory performance.
