Job summary

Del Mar College Testing Center seeks a skilled Lab Support Technician to oversee day-to-day management of the DNE simulation lab and its audiovisual systems in Corpus Christi. You will operate and maintain simulators, computers, and capture equipment, manage inventory, and support faculty and students during sessions.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• One year related experience.
• Experience with health-care technology preferred.
• Experience with AV recording equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to students and instructors during simulation lab activities.
• Record simulation exercises and make AV files available to faculty/students for educational use.
• Safeguard electronic data and protect laboratory information and equipment from loss or misuse.
• Manage day-to-day operation of multiple simulators and related software.
• Upgrade simulation software and troubleshoot technical issues with hi-fidelity mannequins.
• Maintain equipment records and complete annual inventory.
