Job summary

Optimal is seeking a Simulation Engineer to support the GM ARC RTD simulation testing workflow. The role focuses on establishing a daily simulation testing routine on a unified platform, evaluating market options, and building standardized workflows and tests for cobot scenarios.

Responsibilities include converting use cases into simulation scenes, evaluating platforms, constructing end-to-end simulation workflows, creating test cases, and interpreting results to present system performance

Responsibilities

• Deliverable D1 - Convert user cases into simulation cases and design the simulation scenes for cobot workflows.
• Deliverable D2 - Evaluate existing simulation platforms and compare performance metrics.
• Deliverable D3 - Build simulation workflows suitable for cobot use cases.
• Deliverable D4 - Build simulation test cases with defined scope and coverage for internal and external users.
• Deliverable D5 - Present evaluation results and project the estimated system performance from simulations.
