Job summary

Augusta University is seeking a Simulation Operations Technician to support daily simulation activities within the SPEAR Center. This entry-level role helps create, maintain, and reset realistic clinical environments under supervision.

Two full-time schedules are available; position emphasizes operational, technical, and logistical support before, during, and after simulations. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized state or federal accrediting organization and 1 year of related experience.
• Associate degree from an Accredited College or University preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, execution, and takedown of simulation activities, assessments, and training sessions.
• Prepare simulation rooms to accurately represent clinical environments using real and simulated equipment.
• Reset spaces between events according to established standards and checklists.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of simulation rooms and storage areas.
• Stock, organize, and restock linens and consumable supplies; assist with basic inventory tracking.
• Follow established workflows, schedules, and standard operating procedures.
