Job summary

Grand Valley State University is seeking an Assistant Technology Specialist Manager to support digital audiovisual systems for recording simulated sessions and to operate multimedia components used in the Simulation Center.

Key duties include assisting in setup and ongoing support, troubleshooting, recording and editing videos, and contributing to workshops for faculty and staff while maintaining equipment inventory and data security.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience with IT systems and multimedia tech.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Provide multimedia tech support for simulation events for faculty, staff, and students.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and simulation equipment failures.
• Assist in setup, resetting, storing, and supporting simulation systems.
