Job summary

University at Buffalo seeks a Simulation Operations Manager to lead the Behling Simulation Center and the Clinical Competency Center. You will run and support simulation sessions for medical students, residents, and faculty, ensuring equipment uptime and coordinating with vendors and the Office of Medical Computing.

You will supervise technicians and student assistants, train staff to run sessions independently, and manage maintenance, service contracts, and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Run and support simulation sessions for medical students, residents, and faculty, and program simulators with faculty.
• Keep simulators, audiovisual systems, and computers working, with vendors and the Office of Medical Computing.
• Supervise and train the centers' Simulation Technician and student assistants.
• Train faculty, residents, and students to run their own simulation sessions.
• Manage equipment maintenance, service contract renewals, and purchase requests.
• Write the procedures and keep the records that support accreditation and accurate billing.
