Job summary

SEH America in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Process Engineer for 200MM production. The role focuses on identifying opportunities to improve silicon wafer production, with emphasis on safety, quality, yield, productivity, and cost efficiency.

The candidate will monitor process data, perform engineering tests, and work with operators and technicians to implement data-driven improvements in a high-volume semiconductor facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering in a mechanical/chemical/material or similar field.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience using statistical data analysis tools and techniques; knowledge of SPC is essential.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment requiring multi-tasking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and able to learn proprietary systems.
• Able to gather, analyze, and interpret process data to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process data to maintain quality, yield, and productivity.
• Optimize production costs wherever possible.
• Conduct engineering tests and use data to quantify results and determine best solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and project management with a hands-on approach.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Lead or participate in root cause analysis and FMEA as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain detailed documentation for audits.
