Teradyne is seeking a Test Engineer for the New Products Introduction Pilot Line in North Reading, MA, focusing on silicon photonics and mixed DC, analog, and RF circuitry. The role involves leading internal NPI operations, planning, execution, and transfer, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a lab-heavy environment.

The candidate should have a background in semi-test, optical or related fields, strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, and willingness to travel domestically

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience as a Test Engineer in semi-test, optical, or related industry is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally.
• Strong understanding of analog, digital, and RF circuits.

Responsibilities

• Debug complex semiconductor test equipment from system to component level.
• Investigate and resolve Pilot Production test issues and defect analysis.
• Integrate, validate and execute test at module and system level for optical tech.
• Generate and present reports with detailed test information.
• Drive Failure Analysis, Root Cause and Corrective Action.
• Train and support test engineers and technicians overseas on tools
