Job summary

Teradyne seeks a Test Engineer for the New Products Introduction Pilot Line, focusing on silicon photonics and automated test equipment manufacturing. You will lead internal NPI operations from planning to transfer, while collaborating with engineering teams in a dynamic lab environment.

Ideal candidates have a solid background in semi-test, optical or related fields, hands-on lab experience, and willingness to travel domestically or internationally. On-site work at North Reading, MA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Optical or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience as a Test Engineer in semi-test/optical or related areas is a plus.
• Domestic or international travel ability.
• Excellent written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Debug complex semiconductor test equipment from system to component level.
• Investigate and resolve Pilot Production test issues and defect analysis.
• Integrate, validate and execute test at module and system level for optical tech.
• Analyze test log files and generate detailed reports.
• Drive failure analysis, root cause and corrective action.
• Lead transfer readiness plans for CM and repair centers.
• Train and support overseas test engineers on execution and debugging tools.
• Ensure smooth transition of new products from development to volume production.
• Support early shipment needs and ramp up for production.
