Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a SiPh Technology Architect to drive R&D projects for next‑gen SiPh solutions focused on data center applications, with potential automotive and biomedical applications. Deep expertise in device physics, design, simulations, and materials integration is required.

Responsibilities include integrating novel materials into the SiPh flow, coordinating design, process, and testing across partners, and guiding concept-to-test workflows with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or Optics.
• >3 years work experience in related field.
• PhD preferred with more than 5 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop technology solutions for integration of novel materials (III-V, TFLN, polymers, BTO) into SiPh foundry flow.
• Coordinate device simulations, process stack definition, layout, and testing of R&D test vehicles.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with partners, suppliers, universities and external consortia.
• Execute from concept through design, simulations, layout, process, and test.
