Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 2+ years in software validation for hardware-focused systems.
• Proven experience with real-time simulation platforms (Typhoon HIL, Opal-RT, ordSPACE) for power electronics.
• Python-based test automation using frameworks like Pytest; familiarity with Rust and C/C++ for embedded code.

Responsibilities

• Validation Environment Design: Architect and scale SIL and HIL environments for high-fidelity simulations.
• Test Automation Frameworks: Lead automated test suites in Python, moving to scalable pipelines.
• V&V Strategy: Define comprehensive plans ensuring software requirements are met under normal and fault conditions.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate HIL/SIL testing into CI/CD pipelines for production-ready code.
• Hardware-in-the-Loop Interfacing: Design interface hardware and wiring for HIL benches linking controllers to simulated stages.
• Root Cause Analysis: Debug failures using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and telemetry logs.
