Job summary

Terabase Energy is seeking a Test Automation Engineer in Northern California to design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for SIL, HIL, and MIL environments. You will help validate power plant controller and SCADA systems, building scalable Python-based solutions and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in hardware-focused software validation, strong Python and Bash skills, and experience with Pytest/OpenHTF, Git, and Docker in automated test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in software validation or test automation for hardware-focused systems.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and Bash scripting; working knowledge of PLC/RTAC/IEC 61131-3.

Responsibilities

• Automation Framework Development for power, control and SCADA systems using Python.
• Define and execute comprehensive Verification and Validation plans for site controller and SCADA systems.
• CI/CD integration of automated HIL/SIL testing into pipelines and provide real-time feedback.
