Job summary

Wipro Limited in Mountain View, California, is seeking a Hardware Test Execution Engineer (Silicon) for system-level testing. You will develop hardware validation plans, perform silicon-level tests, and collaborate across software, firmware, and validation teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities include Python-based automation, Vmin and power characterization, data analysis, and lab automation improvements to ensure robust test ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical, computer, or electronics engineering.
• 3–7 years in embedded systems, firmware or hardware validation.
• 3+ years in building, deploying, and maintaining robust test execution environments.
• Experience parsing large test logs and data manipulation.
• Experience with version control systems (git, Perforce) in team settings.
• Expert proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python).
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with microcontrollers, SoCs, and interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, SWD).
• Experience with lab tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG debuggers).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute hardware validation test plans for post-silicon bring-up.
• Conduct silicon package-level functional testing to validate chip performance.
• Collaborate with software, validation and firmware teams to resolve issues.
• Automate test setups using Python for efficiency and repeatability.
• Execute Vmin and power characterization across PVT.
• Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting for silicon characterization.
• Perform board-level validation and debugging signal integrity, power and interfaces.
• Provide feedback to improve test framework, hardware setups, and lab automation tools.
