Job summary

Kudu Dynamics, a Leidos Owned Company, is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and enhance software on Linux using C++ and Java. You will analyze requirements, implement features, debug issues, and apply signal processing techniques, with opportunities to work on RF and communications projects.

Qualifications include a BS in Computer Science or related field with 7 years of experience, or 4 years with equivalent SSWE experience, plus proficiency in Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 7 years of experience.
• 4 additional SSWE or equivalent experience may replace a degree.
• Experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, and digital signal processing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive design and performance specs.
• Design, develop, and enhance software to add features and improve functionality.
• Debug and resolve defects in software systems.
• Apply signal processing and modulation techniques effectively.
• Develop software in C++ and Java on Linux.
• Integrate software into new or modified systems for seamless operation.
• Lead or participate in testing procedures for software components.
• Write and review software documentation and suggest process improvements.
• Apply mathematical models to design software solutions and predict outcomes.
