Job summary

Kudu Dynamics, a Leidos owned company, seeks an experienced software engineer to analyze requirements, design and enhance software, and resolve defects using C++/Java on Linux. You will apply signal processing and mathematical models to deliver robust software and contribute to testing and documentation.

A TS/SCI with polygraph is required. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in CS or related field and relevant experience; familiarity with SDR architectures and cloud technologies is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; 7 years experience. 4 years of additional SSWE or equivalent experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, communications theory, digital modulation, error control coding, signals analysis tools (e.g. WVT, DVT), and digital signal processing (e.g. adaptive beamforming/ filtering, demodulation).
• Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with polygraph

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required with 7 years of experience. 4 years of additional SSWE or equivalent experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, communications theory, digital modulation, error control coding, signals analysis tools (e.g. WVT, DVT), and digital signal processing (e.g. adaptive beamforming/ filtering, demodulation).
• Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI with polygraph

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with software-defined radio architectures (e.g., SCA, REDHAWK, GNU) and commercial wireless standards.
• Proficiency in software configuration management tools (e.g., GIT, Trac, Subversion).
• Familiarity with Python, Eclipse IDE, Google Protocol Buffer, and model-based design tools like MATLAB or SIMULINK.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployment (e.g., AWS).
• Expertise in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, including libraries like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience working with REST APIs, WebSockets, and JavaScript 3D libraries (e.g.,Three.is a plus).
• Background in Agile development teams and geolocation techniques.
