Job summary

Espy, a leader in signals intelligence software, seeks a Software Engineer to join a lean, agile team. You will design, build, and test high-performance Linux C++ software across general-purpose and embedded platforms, handling RF signal data capture and streaming to long-term storage.

Collaborate with hardware engineers, implement Python automation, apply DSP concepts, and explore machine learning to enhance visualization and processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 10+ years of professional experience designing and implementing software systems using C++ in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency with high-performance TCP/UDP network communications, Bash and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Development: Design, build, and test high-performance C++ software in Linux across general-purpose and embedded platforms.
• Hardware Integration: Work with hardware engineers to integrate software with physical components per system requirements.
• Automation & Scripting: Implement and test automation scripts and tools using Python; build reliable tooling.
• Feature Prioritization: Collaborate with engineering, field support, and customers to plan features and bug fixes.
• Global Deployment: Provide testing and deployment support for a global customer base.
• Technical Ownership: Resolve technical challenges with cross-functional leadership.
