Job summary

Software Placement Group, SPG is seeking a Signal Integrity Field Applications Engineer / Marketing Manager in Austin, TX (with an additional opening in San Jose, CA) to support regional and global sales, engineering, and marketing initiatives. This dual-role combines technical customer engagement with marketing responsibilities.

You will engage with customers across the USA, collaborate with engineering teams on high-frequency designs, and lead R&D efforts to advance signal integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in consumer electronics, enterprise computing, or high-speed datacom industries.
• Proficiency with ANSYS HFSS or equivalent 3D FEM solvers and experience with high-speed lab equipment.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity concepts and analytical skills to troubleshoot high-speed systems.
• Experience with high-speed signals up to 224 Gbps.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers across the USA to understand and address signal integrity requirements, presenting tailored solutions involving products, test reports, and simulations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to refine product designs and support customer-specific applications, ensuring alignment with high-frequency and EMI requirements.
• Lead research and development initiatives, contributing to industry standards and identifying emerging trends in electronics.
• Represent the company at trade events and industry symposiums, facilitating technical discussions and networking with key industry players.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including test reports and technical papers, to support sales and marketing efforts.
• Provide training and technical support to sales teams, enhancing their understanding of signal integrity concepts and their impact on product performance.
• Coordinate with product partners to explore new technologies and solutions for enhanced customer offerings.
