Job summary

Schlosser Signs Inc. designs, manufactures, and installs custom signage for clients across Colorado. The Designer translates client concepts into production-ready artwork, coordinating with sales, project management, and fabrication to ensure accurate, compliant designs.

The role bridges creative design and technical production, focusing on scale, materials, mounting methods, and file prep for CNC routers, printers, and paint.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Background in manufacturing or production design.
• Knowledge of fabrication, metalwork or signs.
• Proficient in Corel Draw; willing to learn SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Translate client concepts into pre-sale and production-ready sign designs.
• Collaborate with sales, project management and fabrication teams.
• Prepare take-off documents including materials and cut lists.
• Ensure designs meet client expectations and local permit requirements.
• Maintain design accuracy and update drawings as needed.
• Provide clear communication to team members and stakeholders.
